Basic movements and formations in 2x 6 week courses that include posture and body awareness, zils and music plus formations for group organisation and the role of the Chorus.

My previous 6-week course was packed with information and I found myself wanting more time. Now I'm taking things the other way to see how it goes and I have broken things down into two 6 week courses. Over 12 weeks I am confident that the majority of beginners will gain a thorough understanding of all basic steps and how they can be used in all formations. After 6 weeks, see where you are and then if you would like to continue for another 6 weeks for more, you can. All basic steps are covered in the first 6 weeks, the second adds some variations, turns, basic layering, another formation and an introduction to level changes.

Requirements
No previous dance experience necessary but a basic level of fitness is required.
Level 1 is where everyone begins. Many dancers attend Level 1 through more than once before moving on to Level 2 and a reasonable level of ability in the basics is a pre-requisite for attending my more advanced classes.

Cost: £30 per 6 week block of classes, payable in advance (you can do 6 weeks only for the total basics, or 12 for the full course)
